So Shut It

So Shut It

Though I’ve always loved talking (hence being called “daldakita” by my dad), I’ve grown wise enough to keep what’s private private and what’s personal just as private. No matter where I go, I’ve observed people blabber and vent, talk ill about other people to people who aren’t involved or who don’t know the subject.

People listen. And if they love gossip, they want more, they will ask for more and pretend they’re concerned.

So keep talking if that’s what assures you of your significance. The insults and unwarranted criticism mirror your very own character.

Keep the mirrors away.
